Volunteer Membership Drive In Process

Volunteers Wanted

Seeking solid character community members to work in a team atmosphere in order to achieve the goals and objectives of the 100% volunteer department. No experience is needed as the department will provide training opportunities and pay for successful completion of formal courses.

Who we are

We are members of the community just like you and dedicate time to giving back in the form of training, incident response and administrative functions. The department responds to approximately 250 incidents in our primary Westmoreland City district and into other portions of North Huntingdon Twp., western Hempfield Twp., portions of Penn Twp., Manor Borough, Irwin Borough and extended areas for our specialty piece of equipment. Our department provides, but not limited to, fire suppression, high-volume ventilation, hazardous material, vehicle-physical rescue and medical support services free of charge. We have a need in all aspects of the emergency response service from interior firefighting, exterior firefighting, driving, fire pump operator and other support functions.

Because we are available for response every second of every day, even holidays, we need a solid membership base to supplement other members that are not available due to work, family or other personal reasons. That’s where you come in…join our team, it will be one of the most rewarding experiences you will have.

Follow link below to complete the Volunteer Inquiry Form and a member from our organization will contact you within 24 hours.
